Green Marketing Message
Just think how stong a ‘Green’ marketing message you could send to your customers if you could demonstrate that 90% of your office supplies were ‘Green’ products.
The environment is big news at the moment and we are all encouraged to do our bit. We all like to think we consciously do the right thing be it recycling our bottles or using energy efficient light bulbs, but are we doing as much in the office as we do in our home.
If you look around your office I’d bet that over 90% of the items have ‘Green’ alternatives, be they capable of being recycled, made from recycled materials, fair trade, etc etc.
At Office Allsorts we haver over 2,400 products which carry a ‘Green’ accreditation mark with more being added every day.
If you want to know what to look out for to spot ‘Green’ office products and for ways you can maker your office a ‘Greener’ environment then please read our Office Supplies blog.

Tim, you’re absolutely right
Tim, you’re absolutely right to say that a green marketing message needs to be based on demonstrable green policies - including those relating to purchasing. Whilst the recession might have made some customers and clients backtrack on their keenness for greenness, those to whom the green agenda is still important are becoming ever more discerning and much more inclined to pick away at green claims until they get to the truth.
My blog post, Greener Marketing - Avoiding ‘Greenwash’ isn’t easy, discusses these issues in relation to direct marketing - and welcomes comments.
