Get going – get a job at Rushcliffe Jobs Fair

People seeking employment or apprenticeship opportunities should head to the first Rushcliffe Jobs Fair on Thursday 5 July at West Bridgford Community Hall, Church Drive, West Bridgford, open from 10am to 3pm.

Organised by Rushcliffe Borough Council and Jobcentre Plus, the event will showcase a number of local employers. Some of the council's apprentices will be on hand to tell people what it's really like and the benefits to be gained.

South Nottingham College will offer its matching service – a mini-assessment exercise to help marry people's skills to opportunities. They will also give advice about training and courses on offer to improve skills. Jobcentre Plus will bring their latest vacancies and give advice. Nottinghamshire County Council will cover positive activities to help people get job-ready. For more details see the event flyer.
