Have your say on funding bid

Monday, 14 May 2012 Written by Jonathan Cross

The Local Enterprise Partnership for Derbyshire, Derby City, Nottinghamshire and Nottingham - the D2N2 LEP - is seeking views from Rushcliffe businesses as to their plans to access special funds from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).

BIS is currently appealing for companies looking for Regional Growth Fund money with a minimum of £1 million per application. The LEP is looking at the potential of a submission to BIS which will allow it to receive a block amount of funding to be divided among local businesses for smaller investments below £1 million.

To identify demand from local businesses, the LEP has set up a survey with a closing date of May 22.
