Quotation and tendering exercises conducted by Rushcliffe Borough Council are now done electronically by default.  The purpose of this is to ensure the procurement process is lean and efficient, and ensures that opportunities are accessible to as many organisations as possible including small and medium enterprises (SME’s).

The StayAhead Project provides free support to SME’s to access high quality innovative in-working training solutions for their existing workforce. Training increases skills within the workforce and can help businesses benefit from improved productivity, competitiveness and workforce retention.

The MoveAhead programme is part of the European Social Fund (ESF) Project ‘Ahead’ which supports SME’s with recruitment to help increase employment levels in the following 5 sectors.

Appointed by Rushcliffe Borough Council, Kerching Retail performed a retail review of the borough's key commercial centres.  The results of the review were shared with growth boards for each centre, and local retailers at three workshops in West Bridgford, Bingham and Radcliffe-on-Trent.
